Projection Admin 3/10

To do this evening/ was completed: For tonight - I ripped the BluRay of Monty Python and put it through Handbrake. It's still finishing up in Handbrake, so please keep an eye on it and DCP once it's done. FYI, it's 1.66. - L

I went to check our shorts inventory for Closing Nite and NoBudge since we're teching Closing Nite tomorrow morning and these all should have finished ingesting over the weekend. Three shorts needed to be re-downloaded and ingested - Strangers and Wait to Tell Mother from Closing Nite, then Wire and Cloth from NoBudge. Update: I did a double take and noticed each file in the Strangers DCP was a copy (had the word in each file), so I cleared each of them and it ingested. I've alerted the cinema team about the others. Really thought I could get Wait to Tell Mother to work...The good news is that we still have two thirds of the month, so we're still ahead. - L

Presentation Issues: None to report. House checks were completed in all auditoriums earlier today and very slight lens adjustments were required in theaters 4 and 6 -WB

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Tech'd and adjusted the playlists for Attack the Block, Terminator 2, Superhuman Body. Built the playlists for Pariah, Opus, Superhuman Body. - L

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Transferred the Closing Nite/NoBudge shorts to T1. We have a run through tomorrow! Downloaded and ingested all the slides we'll need for NSF25. These have also been transferred to T1. (I did ingest the corrected 'Thank You' slide Kat sent this afternoon!) - L

Chenelle linked us some assets for the private event on Thursday, 3/13. I DCP'd and ingested the holding slide and birthday video. - L

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested the last bit of the Cults preshow - 5min. Ingested the March 5min preshow for ABC. - L

Received two canisters containing Westward the Women and brought these up to booth 1 -WB

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: As a follow up to my Saturday night blog, I ran the 5th reel of Uptown Girls this morning and had Will sit in the theatre for the whole thing. No major sound issues, it just drops a little, for a second or two, and that's it. No issues with it running through the projector, it'll briefly sound somewhat unpleasant, but nothing serious. Film looks great on the big screen. - L

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Deleted features we no longer need (cleared a good amount of space off T1 to make way for incoming A1s). 

Cleaned the port glass windows in booth 4 -WB

Note: Vlad came in this morning to check out the table lights situation in T4 and he's ordered a new transformer for us. He'll be back in the next few days to install it and double check everything. - L

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Thursday cues/TMS complete. Added credits info for Attack the Block, Terminator 2. Added Pariah info, but we'll need to run a reel for credits. - L

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?: Tossed some older first run one sheets, started a new archive tube/brought up old ones to booth 4/6, reorganized the poster cubby behind 3/7 to make space for incoming titles, and drew up a new grid on the laminated paper with updated titles -WB
