Projection Admin 3/26



To do this evening/ was completed: The fire alarm went off this morning. Juan and some folks were working on a few things which I believe set it off, or something in the kitchen, but either way, all theatres have been reset! Every corner of this establishment has had quite the bacon-y smell today. - L

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Staff screenings for DOAU and Eephus have been emailed out, scheduled on the LMS and blocked on the calendar. - Lillian

Built the playlists for Eephus, Discreet Charm, Minecraft (Hanna playlist can get built once it's done ingesting to the LMS. Thanks! - Lillian 

Trailer Updates: Ingested the trailer for How to Train Your Dragon, The Shrouds - Lil

Special Events/ AV set up: Made the 1.90 lens file in T1 -A

The private event for Superhuman Body on 4/4 (next week) has been. moved to 4/28, but the 4/03 screening stays! So, we'll need new keys for later in the month, but we'll have the current set all day on 4/3. Chenelle is aware. - Lillian 

Will show Lillian the slightly reorganized T1 under-curtain area tomorrow when we set up for the KGO run through -A

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Pretty much finished tidying cables etc. under the curtain in Theater 1. The need for this section of the floor to be mopped is frankly comical... will probably need to be hit multiple times before it's really clean. There should be a good amount of time to make the first pass after the last round tonight ;) -A

Put together the shelf behind the curtain in T2. The PA speakers and equipment bin are on it, but I still need to organize stuff back there -A

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Added the formula information for Eephus and updated the sheets for this upcoming week of 3/28. Made some adjustments for tomorrow. - Lillian

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report Friday 1/31 CLOSE Chris

Presentation Issues: -I believe Karen thoroughly covered this in an email but there were serious issues with the CP500 for the 6:20 Lil Women; no sound for the first three minutes and it dropped out again the very moment the 500 was taken off manual. The last foil cues continue to fail to fire. The platter worked fine, tho it is not a graceful competence, double-wrapping the film around the brain in the first fourth of the movie before the motor kicks in. -The Rhythm Section SPL had it's LTS DOWN cue set to fire at the beginning of the 10 count preshow portion, rather than the end when the trailers hit. Fixed that.
