To do this evening/ was completed: Weekly Update is out! Please get your eyes on it. Staff Screenings have been scheduled/built out on the LMS, added to the calendar and emailed out. One small ask - I think we should try to routinely plug in the mouse and/or keyboard every night, if possible, just so that we don't ever have to worry about losing a charge at an inconvenient time. Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Tech'd Lilo and Stitch today. I made an adjustment to the cue sheets, formula, and playlist as the credits properly start about two minutes later and it makes more sense to have the house lights up cue later in the playlist. - Lillian

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Added Spoons to the LMS as an event. Setup for the show tonight in T1.  Wireless mic mixer, Yamaha, Aja and Spots board are all set, just remember to turn everything on (including the breaker for the spots!). Everything's organized on the table with two mic stands off to the side. They use three mics, but I don't think they'll need two stands, or at least I don't think they used more than two last time. In any case, there's a third under the curtain if they need it. Also, friendly reminder to bring down our laptop/laptop charger since they prefer it. Remember it's Digital 4 on the processor! - Lillian 

Setup the speakers for Shouting at the Screen tomorrow just to give us a head start, that way we'll only need to setup the wireless mic mixer, really. Aja is basically sorted. -Lillian 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for 28 days later

Ordering/Receiving (content): Asked John to updated the old info on the distribution list (swap out Johnny Dangerously with info for Look Who's Talking), which will be coming from Sony! I put this in the weekly update, but we should expect to see this closer to the screening date...- Lillian 

We received a doc of multiple DCP links from AGFA: Hired to Kill, Gwendoline, Scarecrow in a Garden of Cucumbers and Santa Sangre. DO NOT download Hired to Kill as that has been cancelled. I downloaded and ingested Gwendoline today (Alec has Scarecrow downloading in T1) and now I am downloading Santa Sangre in 4/6. FYI - these kinda make the comp slow. - Lillian 

Received extended preshow/shorts content for Fix Your Hearts or Die (from Desmond/Kat) which I've started to download. I have iykyk downloading to preshows/trailers drive right now. - Lillian


Downloading Scarecrow in the Garden of Cucumbers on the iMac in T1, should take all night. -A

Maintenance/cleaning: Made a slight adjustment to the lens file and masking in T6 for 1.66 (Bonjour Tristesse) as it was noticeably bleeding on the left a bit. Bottom is fine (Will referenced this being a little too low the other day. It looks a lot more evenly distributed now. - Lillian

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection 6/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: PS107's event in theater 2 went smoothly and the mics were returned to the booth to charge following the show Set up for trivia at Trees Lounge this evening The Matrix Revolutions screening in theater 1 went well save for some alternating of volume levels throughout as the audio for the first few reels was very hushed compared to how loud the rest of it gets once the action starts in reels 4-7 (mics were returned to the booth to charge and both projectors were cleaned + exhausts shut) Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Received copies of  Best in Show and The Princess Bride for upcoming private events this week and began ripping  Best in Show through MakeMKV and HandBrake (update: the film is running through DCP-o-matic and should finish within 24 hours) Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection:  The...
