To do this evening/ was completed: Just in response to last night's blog - The captions in T3 are working just fine. I moved the USB from the esata port to the usual USB...tested a few DCPs with the closed captioning device. Not sure why the stick was in the esata. 
As for the Digital Link, that is also working fine, the ethernet cable just wasn't attached. 

Tech'd and built the playlists for Gwendoline and It's All Gonna Break. Updated the cue sheets for these, too.

KDM for Bring Her Back opens tomorrow! 

Staff Screenings have been emailed out, scheduled on the LMS and blocked on the calendar. I added an encore screening for Lilo n Sitch and MI8 since we only had one day last week due to the wifi outage. These will be tomorrow, not Friday, so that there's not too much going on at once. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Ingested the DCPs for Bring Her Back. Built the playlists and updated the LMS. 

Built playlist for City of Lost Children and Heavenly Bodies - please get eyes on these! They just need a volume/ credits check. 

Made the June slides for Desmond - Matrix Rev, Intro/QA slides for Dog Movie. All have been ingested, but we did also just get the Bound slides, so those can be done tonight!

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Friendly reminder that the Q&A for Broken Social Scene event tomorrow  in T1 will need to be filmed! 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Downloaded Redlands via Cyberduck and ingested this to the LMS. 

Downloaded and ingested the 5/15/25min Fantasy preshow. 

Ingested 25min and 15min Wes Anderson preshow. Phoenician Scheme 5min preshow not yet available. 

We received multiple prints today: Batman Begins, This Day and Age, Matrix Revolutions. These have been stored according to their screening room.

I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection 6/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: PS107's event in theater 2 went smoothly and the mics were returned to the booth to charge following the show Set up for trivia at Trees Lounge this evening The Matrix Revolutions screening in theater 1 went well save for some alternating of volume levels throughout as the audio for the first few reels was very hushed compared to how loud the rest of it gets once the action starts in reels 4-7 (mics were returned to the booth to charge and both projectors were cleaned + exhausts shut) Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Received copies of  Best in Show and The Princess Bride for upcoming private events this week and began ripping  Best in Show through MakeMKV and HandBrake (update: the film is running through DCP-o-matic and should finish within 24 hours) Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection:  The...
