We don't have PeeWee yet, but that's coming from Paramount. I'll keep and eye out for this but will follow up with John at our cinema meeting on Weds if we don't see/hear anything about it. L
Outgoing/Shipping (content):
Print/video Inspection: Lillian and I went through Phoenician Scheme masking in Theaters 1, 2, and 3. We saved over the 1.33 preset and made a new cue (separate from the 1.33 cue) on these three servers called "Phoenician Masking" to avoid confusion. (Though it should be noted that the 1.33 cue in these theaters will not result in 1.33 masking, the preset used for this cue has been repurposed for TPS for the time being, though this shouldn't be an issue as I'm not anticipating any 1.33 content soon). There is a pack on Screenwriter titled "Phoenician Masking" as well which has been added to the playlists. It's just a few seconds of black with the masking cue, we will leave the projectors on the 1.85 channel for these shows. We also decided this sounded good at 5.0, but it is a pretty loud mix! -A
We received the print of Three on a Match today. I inspected the first two reels. I will do the others tomorrow night. - L
Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:
Maintenance/cleaning: I was able to check out the subwoofers in 1 more closely today and discovered that a part on one of them came unglued and was obstructing the movement of the cone. I'm sure this was to blame for the noise that received complaints. I removed this speaker and raised the level of the LFE to compensate for the cabinet only having one speaker for now. There is the cabinet above this one which is currently not producing any noise despite having two speakers in it and having speaker wires connected. I'm sure these can be repurposed rather than ordering another speaker. I'm going to give this a try next Wednesday, I should have a good amount of time then to work on this. For now, we are in good shape. -A
1.33 proj. channels in 1 and 2 and 1.66 masking in 2 were adjusted for TPS yesterday, but since neither of these are going to be in use for TPS they have been set back to normal. -A / L
I was able to make the right side curtain in T1 fall a bit straighter by adding some more weight to the bottom corner. It's still not perfect, when the masking comes in it's fine but when it comes back out the bottom pokes in a tiny bit still. -A
Didn't get a chance to put these up today before doors but received two small baskets to mount on the wall in booth 3 and booth 4, to hold the spotlight remotes. Next week! -A
Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked and updated. After the last round this Saturday, I'll run the last reel for the Sundays on Fire print since I don't think we're going to be able to find a file of that for credits info. - L
