NPP Projection Close/Admin 6/19



To do this evening/ was completed: Re-inspected Matrix Revolutions. Scheduled express pickups for Matrix and Pee Wee, both going to HFC.

Best In Show ingested to LMS.

Looked at 28 Years Later. All set. 5.5 might sound slightly quiet for dialogue but plenty loud for the action. Good balance.

Letters up for 28 Years, Bring Her Back down. Couldn't swap out that poster due to bike blocking the area where I'd put the ladder to reach the case, so check in later.

Built a playlist for the Bound show. I imagine it'll need a little tweaking but we'll cross that bridge during tech.

Plex was acting up a bit around 4:00 pm today. Some of the categories were inaccesible on the Trees TV, but accessible on the desktop here. I tried powercycling Apple TV and the Plex app, but no luck, so ended up just playing the content that was still available. Will be easier to assess tomorrow, if necessary, before the bar opens and gets very busy like it was today.

Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection 6/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: PS107's event in theater 2 went smoothly and the mics were returned to the booth to charge following the show Set up for trivia at Trees Lounge this evening The Matrix Revolutions screening in theater 1 went well save for some alternating of volume levels throughout as the audio for the first few reels was very hushed compared to how loud the rest of it gets once the action starts in reels 4-7 (mics were returned to the booth to charge and both projectors were cleaned + exhausts shut) Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Received copies of  Best in Show and The Princess Bride for upcoming private events this week and began ripping  Best in Show through MakeMKV and HandBrake (update: the film is running through DCP-o-matic and should finish within 24 hours) Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection:  The...
