NPP Projection Report /20 Admin

To do this evening/ was completed: Tech'd a bunch with Desmond - we looked at two reels of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil in T4. Volume noted. - Lillian 

Ingested and went over the drag show content for Bound, noted the correct intro/outro slides and volume levels for all musical pieces. Added a new wash/spots setting. - Lillian 

Looked at Dog Movie and the shorts. Adjusted volume - Lillian

Note: I also looked at the new HowTo_Drama that I updated (bringing the levels up in DCPomatic) and it worked well to be at 3.5, so we can use that one. - Lillian

Maintenance/cleaning: The new woofers for T1 are here! I'll put them in on Tuesday. -A

We received our new alcohol wipes. There's some in 4/6 and some in T1. Note: in T1, there's an open bottle on the supplies shelving unit opposite the bench! Start with that. - Lillian 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Updated Compensation for Saturday (and adjust the LMS) as the intro has been cancelled! - Lillian

Received posters and buttons for Compensation. We'll keep it all for Trivia and such. in 3/7. We also got Together posters. - L

Additional Notes: I updated the Blu-Ray rips section of the manual with instructions on how to scale videos in DCP-o-matic so we can skip the HandBrake step (unless we need to burn in subtitles). -A

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection 6/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: PS107's event in theater 2 went smoothly and the mics were returned to the booth to charge following the show Set up for trivia at Trees Lounge this evening The Matrix Revolutions screening in theater 1 went well save for some alternating of volume levels throughout as the audio for the first few reels was very hushed compared to how loud the rest of it gets once the action starts in reels 4-7 (mics were returned to the booth to charge and both projectors were cleaned + exhausts shut) Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Received copies of  Best in Show and The Princess Bride for upcoming private events this week and began ripping  Best in Show through MakeMKV and HandBrake (update: the film is running through DCP-o-matic and should finish within 24 hours) Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection:  The...
