To do this evening/ was completed: For now, I've set got the Phoenician Scheme (1.47) masking/lens file in the 1.33 pack. The ingest letter said to use 1.85 and mask as best as possible and that was the plan but when I came in today, it looked a little off with 1.85 in T1/2 and I didn't want to adjust 1.85 since we frequently use that, but it was good in 1.66. Since we have Friendship in T3 with Phoenician on Saturday, using the 1.66 lens/masking wouldn't work, so I adjusted 1.33 screener file, made a slight lens adjustment, and set the masking. I want to redo T1 tomorrow and have Alec get his eyes on it. There's not a huge difference between using the pack I have and the 1.85 lens file/1.33 masking cue, but in T3 there seems to be. I do think tomorrow we should reset to use 1.85 and the masking cue I made for '1.33,' bit T1 looked ever so slightly off with that so for now, it's all with 1.33. This probably sounds very confusing, and feel free to disregard most of this as we'll have it sorted tomorrow, but for tonight we're fine (it looks great) and there's the tiniest bit of keystoning in T2 but I got it to a good spot for opening day today, and the keystoning is par for the course in that room anyway. FYI Phoenician can get loud in some parts, so I set it to 4.5, actually. We can always change this, but I've got it there now. This is also a long winded way of saying that I think I tried to do too much today and probably made things a bit more complicated than they needed to be (Perfectionist brain and ADHD...),but I also want things to look flush across all necessary screening rooms, so again, Alec and I will update tomorrow.

FYI - the preshow/trailers for Phoenician Scheme is a bit too long by almost 3 min, but I spoke to Kat to come up with a temp solution and adjusted the CCAP playlist for tonight until she gives us an updated playlist run in the morning. No need to change the cue sheets as it's just the playlist. Everything is fine on the sheets for tonight and it in sync with the sheet timing. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Please be careful when ingesting trailers from Deluxe. The M3gan 2 trailer was ingested as Scope instead of Flat. I re-ingested and updated all of the playlists that need it. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: School screening started pretty much right on time. Everything went well, kids were happy. 

Just a note on cleaning in T2 - you can put the speakers and/or stands on the rack. I put the speakers on the top rack so that the curtain does bulge out. It's less cluttered with the stanchions that way. 

Setup for Spoons in T1. Brought the wireless mic mixer in from T2 and hooked it up to the Yahama. Got the spots board and Aja up as well. Mics, laptop sound & image have been tested. Remember to flip the switch on the powerstrip, turn on the panels for wireless mics and turn on the spots board/breakers. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for Demon Slayer (?) and Black Phone 2. There was a poster for The Materialists out in 3/7 that I put back in its cubby. 

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received the BluRay for Ratatouille. Ripped via MKV and I am running this through Handbrake now. X (the movie) is still running in DCPomatic and will finish in about an hour or so, then you can put the mkv file from Handbrake (of Ratatouille) in. 

How To Train Your Dragon will be available for ingest tonight. 

Traction Park Massacre was incorrectly labeled as Trailer Park Massacre (my bad, I made the DCP). But it is ingested and I've been updating the producer (who seems a nervous fellow) and is delighted to get as many updates as possible. Anyway, I'll get eyes on this tomorrow. Ingested it to T4 this eve. I forget that you can add an additional name to a file in Screenwriter, so I put the correct name in that column, but it won't be an issue. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Sony and DHL both came to pick up prints. Said goodbye to This Day and Age and Look Who's Talking.

Maintenance/cleaning: All servers are looking good storage wise. Friendly reminder to NOT remove Alice Jr from the LMS. Thanks! 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. 

Marquee updated?: Updated the front of the marquee with The Phoenician Scheme. Made sure all titles are as uniform as can be. 

Posters updated?: Yes. Updated today.
