Projection Admin 6/9



To do this evening/ was completed: Fire extinguisher inspection caused the fire alarm to go off well before our in-time this morning. Raekwon notified me when the lights weren't going down. Cleared T5 and then all the others. No issues. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Will and I went through all of our current in-house and A1 trailers to check volume. I noticed in the 0606 Friendship playlist that it was the only playlist with a 5.0 cue attached to the welcome (which starts the trailer pack) and that should be at 4.0, not 5.0. We wrote down the correct volume changes and I've put them on the white board above the desk in 4/6. I have updated all 0606 playlists and packs to reflect this. So feel free to adjust the 0613 playlists. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Ratatouille is ingesting to the LMS. Please built a short playlist for the school screening tomorrow. Lilo is scheduled! There's two school screenings at the same time.  Please make sure this gets scheduled tonight! Thanks!

Santa Sangre has been tech/d, playlist updated. 

John looped Alec and I in for the school documentary event. We'll give y'all an update on content soon. 

Traction Park Massacre playlist has been double checked. Cue sheets set. Mic/spots remote set. Chenelle requested a mic stand, so please grab one out of T1. This request was a little last minute. Thanks!

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection 6/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: PS107's event in theater 2 went smoothly and the mics were returned to the booth to charge following the show Set up for trivia at Trees Lounge this evening The Matrix Revolutions screening in theater 1 went well save for some alternating of volume levels throughout as the audio for the first few reels was very hushed compared to how loud the rest of it gets once the action starts in reels 4-7 (mics were returned to the booth to charge and both projectors were cleaned + exhausts shut) Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Received copies of  Best in Show and The Princess Bride for upcoming private events this week and began ripping  Best in Show through MakeMKV and HandBrake (update: the film is running through DCP-o-matic and should finish within 24 hours) Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection:  The...
