To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Increased the feature volume level for Superman in its playlists ever so slightly (from 5.0 to 5.3) since it sounded a bit low with the bigger crowds watching it this evening

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Splashtop took the night off in 3/7 and failed to connect to the projection laptop no matter how many times I relaunched the app. Theater 6's rack PC was in such a state of deep sleep it began shutting down as soon as the screen finally turned on. Rebooted it and never got around to logging in to try connecting to Splashtop from there since it was taking forever to load. Ended up being pressed for time between bringing Nell an extension cord and resolving the sudden technical issue so I relinquished the 4/6 desktop to Michael via the laptop (this was the only thing Splashtop would connect to) so he could manage light/volume levels in theater 1 and get things underway. The show was delayed by about five minutes. Currently writing this from the iMAC in booth 1 and keeping an eye on the show from up here. Going to try to get 3/7 and/or 6 connected to Splashtop again so I can move back up to the 4/6 desktop and let Michael run things like normal (update: I was unable to connect to the laptop as the show was well underway by the time I got 6 back up and running but it went fine and everything was put back once the hosts departed)

Print/video Inspection: Finished inspecting Angel Terminators II for this weekend's Sundays on Fire and started an inspection report

I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there!
