NPP Projection Report 7/16 Close


To do this evening/ was completed: Heads up I am copying the Pavements DCP to the Williamsburg share folder from the P&T drive. It should be done by midday tomorrow.

Print/video Inspection: Inspected the Punks print. It's in quite nice shape with a bit of minor wear. Should run very well.

Inspected Creepshow as well. This is a bit more beat up but not much. Pretty consistent light base scratches throughout which will likely be visible during brighter scenes (especially toward the end). Great color, though, and little physical damage. I'm sure it will look very good. It's tails out on the shipping reels for now.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): There were a few issues on the cue sheet for tomorrow. Neither event was entered correctly. Both were entered as a regular screening although both have a talkback afterward.

Also the Eddington formula was wrong. It had 2hrs 28min as the runtime without credits but this is the full runtime of the feature, so all the timing was 5 minutes off for every showing.

Those were all corrected for tomorrow and I fixed the credits for every Eddington show next week as well.

Marquee updated?: Took down Megan 2 and How to Train Your Dragon since they're done after tomorrow. Put up Eddington and rearranged the titles nicely. There's room for Smurfs on the top row if you push those titles a bit to one side.

Posters updated?: Megan/Dragon down, Eddington switched to now showing. Smurfs outside with coming soon tag. Moved Together outside too. Naked Gun and Bad Guys 2 up in the lobby.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there!
