Projection Admin 7/11

To do this evening/ was completed: Bit tricky with a solo shift in regards to timing today, but managed to make it work. 

In response to the Splashtop issue last night - I restarted the PC in T6, checked to make sure Splashtop settings were correct on there, then logged in and out of splashtop on 4/6 and it popped up. Working just fine.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: NOTE - It has been a super busy week (particularly for Alec and I) and we need to keep the ball rolling on playlist building or scheduling, and flag when we are waiting on content. Pavements was ingested to the LMS but not T3, so I ingested it. We need to get eyes on this in between rounds, so I've instructed Will to do an credits/sound check. Playlist is built and scheduled for the weekend, as are the playlists for SOF and Desperately Seeking Susan. 

NOTE: KDM for Beverly Hills Cop goes live on Sunday 

Built a bunch of SE playlists we have left for 7/11 and clarified the Coming to America playlist with Kat. Ingested the OG ABC preshow with 5min March (for 2023! this is correct!). She is copying it over to the share drive right now. 

Trailer Updates: Ingested new first run trailers for 7/18 and some SE trailers. 

Special Events/ AV set up: School screening went very well. Started ahead of schedule, which was great.  

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received new content/trailer list from Kat. I built the first run playlists for PG shows and some PG13. I have been ingested preshow content for SE and ingested the forecasts. 

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested the Smurfs feature DCPs

We received the BluRay of Punchline for August. 

We also received the DCP for the Brooklyn Night documentary at the end of the month. This is ingesting via the share drive. (update- having trouble ingesting. I'll take a look at it tomorrow. shouldn't be hard to solve. I have an idea)

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Not sure why, but Super 8 wasn't picked up yesterday. I have a feeling it's because the post folks were there early in the day to drop off and there might've been some confusion about an afternoon pickup. In any case, I rescheduled an express pickup and it's on it's way now. 

Print/video Inspection: Ran loops in T1 today before teching - changed out the lens/plate on P1 for Nickel Boys. I reset it back to 1.85 for Desperately Seeking Susan tomorrow, but definitely run a loop tomorrow morning. Port tape will need a little adjusting. 

Tech'd both SOF and Nickel Boys, noting volume on the white cards. NOTE: I tagged one of y'all on the inspection report to fill in the information for the first two reels. Please remember to do this. After teching this today, we were surprised to find that reel one of SOF abruptly starts on image, in the middle of action. I noted this in bold and highlighted in the "first image/credit" section. 

Desmond and I went through the NoBudge #46 shorts after Nickel Boys. One of the shorts hadn't been uploaded to the drive, but Kentucker got it on there later today, which I downloaded and DCP'd. This short is called Circumstantial Forgiveness. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Please clean the T1 projector interiors tonight. I started on P1 because I didn't want Nickel Boys running through it before I spruced it. You the flashlight on your phone to make sure there's no more excess oil seeping near the film trap, pad shoe, and hold brack sprocket. Oil and dirt build up easily beneath the padshoe and where the intermittent oil level is. 

Brad from Film Tech sent us tracking for the new shipping reel for Nickel Boys. Should be here Tuesday, 7/15. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. 

Marquee updated?: Added Sorry, Baby and took down Sinners

Posters updated?: Moved Eddington to the spot where Sinners was outside, then added Together to the lobby where Eddington was. Adjusted the banners.
