Projection Admin 7/14



To do this evening/ was completed: Just a little note on KDMs - for films received through Deluxe, you don't need to upload keys, they will upload automatically to the LMS. I still like to double check, just to be sure, but they should be fine on their own. 

Took a seat out in T1 row 5, right on the end. Chair is off to the side of MOD station area with drill up on the shelf, screws upstairs on the desk in 4/6. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Death Becomes Her is all set for tonight. I did have to adjust the cue sheets quite a bit. Not sure what happened, it was mostly correct, but the end time for the Q&A plus credits info were all off. I adjusted volume. Slide looks good. House lights will come down during the trailer, right before the slide (I confirmed with Desmond). For center spots, use 103 = scene 1, bank 3

Beverly Hills Cop playlist tech'd. 

Took a look at Sabbath Queen in T3, which looks and sounds great. 

Playlists for the school screenings this week have been built/scheduled. 

Built playlist for Coming to America. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Two chairs are off to the side in T2 and situated in a way where they won't be an issue for Scope masking prior to Death Becomes Her. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested the DCP of Punchline to the LMS. 

Roman Holiday (brunch show in addition to PeeWee) has definitely been booked, keys are pending, no other updates. I'll check back in Wednesday if we don't receive any more info. 

Ingested ABC_5min_March2023 for Coming to America (friendly reminder that this is correct! they want 2023 bit for this show) Keys haven't opened for the feature yet, but they will on Weds!

Maintenance/cleaning: Made the rounds today, checked in on speakers, lights, lamps, etc. T4 has about 530 hours left. 

Lenses and plates for 1.37 are set in both projectors in T1 for tomorrow, just need to run loops/adjust port glass tape.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there!
