To do this evening/ was completed: Went through house checks this morning. 
Friendly reminder to keep the Staff Screening playlists for Eddington/Smurfs since we'll be running them on Monday! 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built/updated special event playlists. Deleted old playlists. 

Peewee's Big Adventure all techd and ready to go in T1 this weekend! 

Trailer Updates: Checked all current first run trailers. 

Special Events/ AV set up: School screening in T7went great! 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Alec, Chenelle and I are working out the private event situation on Monday. Test is downloading in 4/6. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Handed off the print of Nickel Boys to UPS today. 

Print/video Inspection: Reset the lenses to 1.85. 
Tech'd Punks and To Live and Die in LA with Desmond today. We also went over the last short for NoBudge (which we received a little late). Looking good on all! The print of To Live and Die looks really great. 

I sent all three Gunsmith Cats episodes to T4 so we could also get our eyes on them. Sound is good on all, Japanese dialogue and english subs are all set! Very pleased with it all. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Reset the masking for 1.37 in T3 a little bit, just ever so slightly. Looks good. Roman Holiday all set. There's two minutes of black attached to the playlist since there's so credits sequence. 

Checked in on the newly glued insulator in the lamp house (P2) in T4. I turned the power on, then the lamp, just to let it heat up for about 15 minutes so I could then turn it off, let it cool down enough to open it up and see if everything was alright, which it was. Glue like that expands, which looks kinda weird but is actually fine though I probably could have afforded to put just a liiiiittle less. In any case, it's very secure and working.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there!
