NPP Projection Open 9/29

To do this evening/ was completed: Tech'd the features for NewFest with Chrissy, Rachel, Desmond. Took a look at captions. Notes have been made for all features and I have credits information on the laptop. We also checked out the last few shorts of previous programs. Only a tad bit more to tech, but the good news is that we've already got the one (yes, one!) trailer we'll need for the shows, just waiting on the land acknowledgment. - Lillian

Special Events/ AV set up: Ran house checks throughout the building and tech'd Humanoids from the Deep and Paid in Full

Ordering/Receiving (content): DCP'd Devil's Cabaret short and ingested it to the LMS as well as the slide! - Lillian 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): We finally got tracking for that shipping reel for Sisterhood! So we'll send it back as soon as we receive the reel.  - Lillian

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
