NPP Projection Report 9/13 Open


To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built Troll 2, MacGruber, Day of the Dead, and Stolen Kingdom.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Triplets of Belleville had a nice show in T1. Cleaned the projectors afterward and put scope lenses and plates in place for Sundays on Fire tomorrow.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested Stolen Kingdom to the LMS.

I moved all the NoBudge DCPs to the Share folder. They are in a folder called "NoBudge 47." Ingested "Night Milk" and "No Rush" to the LMS. "I'm So Sorry Baby" is currently converting in 4/6.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Cleared a bunch of stuff we don't need anymore from the Share Folder. Was getting a bit messy.

Triplets is packed up and ready to go out. I printed the label and attached it. Will schedule a pickup for that and Longest Nite tomorrow and put both on the cart for a Monday pickup.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): The short before Triplets was not accounted for on the cue sheet for today. I adjusted it and let Wyatt/Jared know.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
