NPP Projection Report 9/18 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: There is an electrical issue in the kitchen and all the lights are out in there. I gave them the work lamps from 3/7 and behind the curtain in T2, as well as the desk lamp from 4/6.

Update: electrical issue seems to have been resolve! Mine n Alec's headlamps are back up in the booth, as is the borrowed supplies. L

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled a playlist for Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Anomalisa

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Ran loops for They Live.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): "The Masterpiece" short for the first Gotham program was missing the audio and video files, LMS was saying it was corrupt. Looked like these didn't get downloaded so I downloaded them and reingested it. FYI-the servers recognize this as being named "Lgo_FTR..." which had me confused at first.

"Home" short for NewFest was showing as corrupt on Screenwriter, too. The video file had a "-001" at the end of its name which was causing that. Renamed/reingested.

Downloaded and ingested the rest of the NewFest shorts we have links for, save for "Meal Pal" which is getting replaced. Started downloading the one feature we have a link for, Summer's Camera.

Brought the Bones print up to 4/6 since it's showing in T4.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Checked volume for Him and Spinal Tap. Playlists updated.

Cyborg inspection underway

Got ahead on teching SE content for the next couple of weeks. Looked at Stolen Kingdom, Lord of the Rings, The French Italian, and Humanoids from the Deep. Updated the Stolen Kingdom playlist. Since the others are not showing until the week of the 26th, I put the tech info (aspect ratio, volume, credit offset) in the "Built By" section of the 9/26 trailer list for when these get made.

I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
