To do this evening/ was completed: Lots of downloading/organizing! 

Also, good news - Park Circus (as per my internet sleuthing, hehe) has a print of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I reckon we're gonna go for it, but I'll let y'all know. 

The short Alec had going earlier, I'm So Sorry Baby, finished transcoding. I ingested it. 

Got started on making the DCP for the NoBudge short, No Concept, which will be ready to ingest by the morning, for sure. 

Presentation Issues: No issues this evening. Had a nice conversation with an older woman and her daughter who really love coming here. 

Closed captioning device put back.

Special Events/ AV set up: We're still waiting to hear back on what Paramount can do for us with that Godfather 3 print...will keep y'all udpated.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Chrissy let us know that they've started to pop in links for the DCPs (NewFest) to the master doc, which I've started downloading. There are two folders on the preshows/trailers drive, for programs 1 &2, so far, named NewFest_P1 and NewFest_P2. I've managed to download quite a bit tonight (see images below). I'll have what's in the first program copied over to the share drive tonight so that they're ready to be ingested in the morning!

I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
