NPP Projection Close 10/17

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled a show playlist for Demon City Shinjuku on 10/20 (this is set to transfer to theater 4 on 10/19 + still needs credits/volume checked)

Built all first run show playlists for the week of 10/24 with the exception of Blue Moon and Depeche Mode: M (waiting to receive feature content for these titles)

Double checked NewFest playlists for tomorrow afternoon's feature and shorts programming and everything is in order

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Placed the turntables back in the case along with the mixer and sealed it shut/stored it neatly beneath the mezzanine steps

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Die My Love, Hamnet, and Jay Kelly posters were delivered and stored behind 3/7

Ordering/Receiving (content): Prints of Night Nurse and The Color Purple were delivered and brought up to booth 1

Currently no sign of the Hellraiser feature file but will continue to keep an eye out for it in the emails and the Deluxe FilmVault tab

24 hours remaining of the Return of the Living Dead transcode in booth 1

Maintenance/cleaning: Overhauled the poster storage behind 3/7 and tossed a bunch of old first runs/upcoming titles we will not be opening and put some spares in the trivia section

Posters updated?: Placed a "now showing" snipe above If I Had Legs I'd Kick You

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
