NPP Projection Close 10/20 + Admin 10/21



To do this evening/ was completed: Finished inspecting Dr Moreau, good condition, on house reels 4/6.

Ingested the Imagination Land slide and ran the new DCP for the filmmakers, they're happy.

Ingested Blue Moon and Shelby Oaks--Shelby came with two separate DCPs, one flat, one scope. Apparently there are ratio changes in the film so they provided two versions to accommodate theaters who don't alternate between ratios. Assuming we'll go flat so that's the one I built the playlists with.

Set up the mic and image connections in T1 for tonight's Warriors show--all is working. Muted sound on the Yamaha mixer so just turn that volume back up when the time comes.

Aux cord is set up in Trees for the DJ set before the Deuce. Jeff just goes off his laptop and it should be fairly simple. The mixer under the bench is already flipped on. 

Scheduled the coming week in LMS with a few exceptions--Depeche Mode needs a playlist made.

Tech'd all of the Halloween dragshow pieces--I logged volumes in my notes and will build a playlist tomorrow. Tested all spotlight cues, all set.

Presentation Issues: **Came in this morning to see T1 Christie IMB connection was down, power-cycled the projector and got the connection back up, then tested some content, all good. But just a note: in Screenwriter the T1 icon is still red with a "Christie Unavailable" status. It's functioning properly and you can access T1 controls through LMS, so don't be alarmed.

NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
