NPP Projection Close 10/23

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a show playlist for Innocent Blood (including its custom intro slide) but the volume cue change for the feature will need to be added

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Brought up a mic stand to theater 6 for the private event intro + the feature needed a volume bump but overall the Return of the Living Dead screening went smoothly

KGO people did a quick tech of their own since everyone who was absent this morning was available to breeze through the presentation...this ran two minutes over schedule so I had to start the show playlist manually...followed along with the ROS sheet to make the volume/lights cues as accurate as possible. The rest of the screening went smoothly. AJA and mic equipment was broken down and stored neatly beneath the curtain

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Blue Moon, Pillion, and Shelby Oaks posters were delivered and stored behind 3/7...I left a poster for Blue Moon and Shelby Oaks on the workbench to be placed outside tomorrow morning

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
