Projection Admin 10/15



To do this evening/ was completed: There is a backup file for Lesbian Space Princess (one of the NF shows tonight) but there is no need for it. I have forwarded the info to Jack, but I ran through the DCP this morning for the fourth time. This is just in case of emergency. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Updated the If I Had Legs playlists with the Innocent Blood trailer (as per Kat's request this afternoon) once the Hellrasier playlist can get built, we'll make sure the trailer is in there too. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Tech'd both NewFest features today and checked in with the coordinators to confirm everything. Also sent Rachel images of the Audience Award slides for All About the T and Ninxs to let her know that theyr'e correct (for tomorrow). Mics are all set in both theatres. Two wired in T3, wireless in T1. If you need to abandon the PC in T1 because the wifi has gone off, you can always hook up the rca to the iMac! For now it's looking good. 

This afternoon we received a DCP (woohoo! DCP never happens) for a private event and they will be coming in tomorrow afternoon to tech it. I'll finish up with them before teching with the newfest folks. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): We received a new preroll (preshow) from Chrissy today (Preshow_V2) which I've ingested to the LMS. There is a chance they'll want it swapped tonight, but if they don't ask, don't remind them. We're going to be teching it tomorrow anyway and it is last minute. 

Ingested a bunch of SE preshow content: 
Halloween All Ages, KGO (Kevin Geeks Out), Anime R, Generic V12

I followed up with Deluxe for I Still Know What You Did Last Summer as I thought it was strange that there was a "failed" delivery attempt listed in the portal, but the keys info got updated. They are now sending us another file via satellite very soon. They know our screening date. 

John should be following up on the print delivery for Innocent Blood and DCP delivery for Hellrasier. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): This morning the Soundhouse folks came to pick up the gear we rented.

Maintenance/cleaning: I changed the lamp in T2 and cleaned the port glass/port area. Dusted the projector off. I reached out to DMS to order another 30SP pair since that was our last and we'll have to change out T1 in the near future. Early this evening, and to my delight, we received our 16M lamps for the smaller theatres. Organized these in 4/6.

NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
