Projection Admin 10/16

To do this evening/ was completed: Cristina sent the folder for the Shock A Go Go shorts (which have an upload deadline of 10/20 for the filmmakers). There are already two shorts in there from what I could see, so I made a folder on the desktop (preshow/trailers drive) to download the files and DCP what needs to be DCP'd. I have the first one, Parasomnia, currently transcoding in 4/6. Bloody Tears mov file is downloading to the desktop folder. For the DCP container name, please do this: (Title)_SAGG. I think it'll help to organize, so that we know it's a Shock A Go Go short. Thanks! - Lillian 

More SE playlists built and scheduled: Beetlejuice, I Still Know What You Did, Hellraiser (just needs feature added, Scooby Doo.

Inspected reels one through four of Casper, good condition overall, some decent wear on reels three and four, emulsion scratch at the end of reel four. On house reels. Just one reel left to inspect.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Looked at After the Hunt and If I Had Legs I'd Kick You playlists. Films are looking/sounding good. I (and Jack, for the other A1 playlists) adjusted volume for a few trailers - please see the notes on the whiteboard in 4/6. Frankenstein and Innocent Blood are louder. - Lillian 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Looked at both NewFest playlists independently and with Desmond, both of which have the new preshow in them. Everything is looking great and sorted for this evening. Before I leave I'll make sure to check/remind y'all about the TVs to make sure the slide show is going. - Lillian

Received two BluRays from Chenelle today, Jack's got the 10/23 one going in T1 in Handbrake for ratio reformatting, finishes in a few hours if you want to start the DCP.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for Good Fortune. Stored in 3/7 - L

Ordering/Receiving (content): John was in touch with the Hellraiser distro and he said they should be getting us a DCP link soon, but I haven't received anything in my inbox yet, nor in the kdm email, but I'll keep an eye out for it. - Lillian 

Just FYI - keys for Josie and the Pussycats will come in tomorrow and go live 10/18 early morning. Additionally, I reached out about Beetlejuice keys and I reckon they'll get released soon. I just want to make sure we're sorted for the weekend as this screens Sunday. UPDATE: Beetlejuice keys are here!! Woohoo! - Lil

Ingested new Springsteen flick - Lillian

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Got rid of loads of features we don't need on some of the smaller screens including content we are no longer showing. Good amount of storage space in all theatres now. - Lillian 

Print/video Inspection: We had Mark and Judi in this morning (with Chenelle) to go over details for the private screening (homemade kids movie for 10/25 (Imaginationland). They looked at the whole DCP and decided that they'd like to adjust a few things. They'll get us a new file and slide by Saturday. I let them know that either Alec or I will both be there depending on which time they head in, and we'll do another tech with them Tuesday morning. - Lillian 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Cristina let me know that the Innocent Blood print is on its way via the Academy! No tracking yet, but it left their hq today. - Lillian

Maintenance/cleaning: Bumped Gregg about the lamp order for the 30SPs. Should be sorted soon. - L

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Updated today and checked for NF events this evening. Let's keep a keen eye on the cue sheets, please. 

Marquee updated?: Yes! Took down Gabby's Dollhouse, Anemone. Added After the Hunt and tomorrow we can add If I Had Legs - Lillian -- those letters are laid out in 3/7 booth. Now Showing snipe for After the Hunt.
