To do this evening/ was completed: ALMOST done with NewFest - let's not forget to be on the lookout for other special events we have coming up. October is a busy month for us, so please be sure to check the calendar, your schedule, and make note of the shows you'll be working. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Tech'd and updated the NewFest playlists for this week with the exception of the DCP of Josie and Pussycats. The KDM has not opened yet. Please see info below in Ordering/Receiving.

Added house lights info for Josie and Beetlejuice but these DCPs still need to be tech'd! KDM info below. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Finally got looped into the thread for Hellrasier and made contact with the distro folks who are re-sending the DCP as the transfer linked failed (on their end) yesterday. This should show up today. I will keep y'all abreast of any new info. I asked if they need our certs for the KDM. Update: DCP will be unencrypted. Feature not yet available but hopefully this evening. ill reach out tomorrow morning if it doesn't come in tonight. 

Spoke to Cristina for a little while about an upcoming magic show to accompany The Bride of Frankenstein. I'm sorting out details for this and will provide an update soon. We will schedule two folks for this event. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Important info regarding KDMS below!!
The KDM for Josie and the Pussycats will open tomorrow at 8am. Please tech this first thing in the morning. I am sure the DCP will be just fine, but be sure to get your eyes on it and confirm it's set. 

The KDM for I Still Know What You Did Last Summer opens at 6pm tomorrow. 

The KDM for Beetlejuice opens at midnight 10/18. 

I have a DCP transcoding in T1 (Return of the Living Dead). Please do Jurassic Park next. The file is already available. 

DCP'd and ingested the following shorts for SAGG (Shock A Go Go program): Parasomnia, Bloody Tears..., and I have Feast Serpent transcoding in 4/6, which will finish to the share drive. I don't believe we've received anymore files for this yet, but check in on the folder for the event to see if anything's been added tonight. Thanks! 

DCP'd and ingested the breakdown and intro slides for Halloween. 

Ingested Bride of Frankenstein to the LMS. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Will be shipping out the "Work" drive soon, just waiting on address details from filmmaker.  

Print/video Inspection:

Maintenance/cleaning: Ran Warriors for Cristina and two reels of the SOF print Blades of Fury (which looks great). Reels are rewound, volume noted. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Cue sheets for special events/newfest (added/updated She's the He, Josie, I Still Know and Beetlejuice) all sorted for the weekend but PLEASE double check all weekend shows this evening and tomorrow morning!!

Marquee updated?: Will updated the marquee/poster banner for If I Had Legs.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
