Projection Admin 10/30



To do this evening/ was completed: Met with Greg and Jeff from Lincoln Center today to have them in for a while to look at our equipment for sale. They'll likely be taking a lot, even in T2, it's just a matter of breaking things down and figuring out the financial side of it. This is good news! - LH

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Shock A Go Go Shorts, which I'll run through as soon as I get another chance. Built the playlist for Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. - LH

Added Bugonia masking for T1 and T2, I'll do the rest tomorrow. We'll need to check out the masking for 35mm. Alec and I will both be here tomorrow to make sure. - LH

Trailer Updates: Updated volume for PSA_Book_V3 and the Val Kilmer Series trailer (new volumes up on the board in 4/6) plus I reached out to Kat about the Legends of the Fall trailer since it was super low volume with soft dialogue. We now have a V2 version, which also has a different volume to 4.0, so please see the white board for that, too. It's 5.0. I updated ALL A1 playlists that have these trailers in them. We're good to go for 10/31. - LH

I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
