To do this evening/ was completed: Swept the LMS of NewFest content! Woohoo! Great job, y'all. Our team really rocked it this year and I am very pleased. Thank you for helping to run such great shows. NF folks are really happy. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Deleted old playlists and got rid of New Fest shorts, features, slides, you name it. 

Got my eyes on I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. Playlist is all set!

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: We are still waiting on the DCP of Hellrasier. Even before I came in I was emailing with the guy who's getting this DCP to us, which failed on him once and he is, apparently, working remotely from a film festival. I asked if he could send it to us using a different transfer service and provided a few suggestions. I wrote back to him asking for an update as he mentioned MASV and wetransfer (and wetransfer can be spotty for large files...) No word yet. Depending on what we hear by the morning, I'll make a game plan to move forward. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): The DCP of Return of the Living Dead finished and I have Jurassic 3 transcoding in T1 now.

DCP'd Killer Grannies for Shock A Go Go and uploaded a few more shorts to the LMS. Heart Eaze doesn't have a video file in the DCP and Kitsch refused to open multiple times tonight, so I've let Cristina know about those two. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Goodbye NewFest!

Print/video Inspection:

Maintenance/cleaning: Followed up with Gregg (again) to check in on the order for those 30sps. 

Going over the last bits of October and early November for tech prep

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
