NPP Projection Close 11/20

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: Kept an ear on it this evening and Wicked 2 sounds fine at 5.5 even with the larger crowds

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built all first run CCAP and OCAP show playlists for the week of 11/28 and saved them to the LMS + updated Zootopia 2 SPLs and removed its trailer/replaced it with the Spongebob trailer

Built and scheduled a pre-show for Spartan on 11/25 (downloaded and converted the intro slide as well) 

Built a show playlist for East of Eden on 11/29-30 which is in 2.55:1 so this will have some very minor letterboxing in the 2.39 lens macro...additionally there are no credits so I have put a minute of black at the end of the feature to keep the lights up before the cleaning lights are triggered

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: B'twixt Now and Sunrise screened this evening in theater 4 without issue

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Teaser posters for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, The Devil Wears Prada 2, Toy Story 5, and an Angel Studios production titled David (why they continue to send us these when we have never shown a faith based film such as this boggles the mind -- God bless) were delivered this afternoon and stored behind 3/7

Ordering/Receiving (content): A blu-ray case containing Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York was delivered and brought up to 4/6

Predators and Wild Goose Lake features finished transferring to the P&T drive via IBM Aspera Connect

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Adjusted an SPL for Wicked 2 in theater 1 that was off by a few minutes and corrected timing on the cue sheets for the Bugonia shows in 3 and 4 tomorrow evening

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
