Special Events/ AV set up: Brought a mic stand down from theater 1 to theater 3 as requested in the event memo for the Shock-a-Go-Go shorts intro (the spotlight remote is back behind 3/7 and the stand is beneath the curtain in theater 1)

Set up for trivia at Trees Lounge...broke everything down following the 35mm show in theater 4

The Color Purple screening + intro in theater 4 went smoothly save for a bad changeover between reels 4 and 5 (reel 4 was mislabeled on the inspection form as having a set of scribe cues when both were grease...I missed the motor cue by a moment longer than was needed to have everything in sync and the crowd saw some leader from the subsequent reel during the changeover ). A similar error occurred between reels 5 and 6 from the splicing of the leader on the latter reel throwing the framing off but this was also quickly fixed

The first round 35mm screening of Bugonia ended around 6PM. I cleaned the projector, platter, the brain, and all rollers thoroughly. The print is covered and everything has been powered down for the time being. There was a moment of confusion regarding the bulb in projector 1 which stayed on despite the lamp switch being in the downward/off position. I tried flipping the breakers on and off but this would not kill the light. Alec made mention of a separate switch at the top of the lamp house which was in the "manual" position and not the "auto" one (image below shows this in its proper position, please keep it off manual and on auto) where it needs to be to allow the other switch to function normally. I switched this back to auto and got everything turned off as usual


Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): How to Train Your Dragon (2010 version) DCP was delivered and brought to 4/6. I transferred this to theater 2 from the CRU port in the 4/6 rack

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: The Color Purple is tails out in 4/6 and can be placed back on its shipping reels tomorrow

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked and adjusted tomorrow's cues. Everything is in order and accurate on the LMS

I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
