NPP Projection Report 11/6 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: During admin tomorrow, someone should vacuum under the T1 screen. We need to be doing this regularly after we have Spoons, as we do tonight.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Every Predator Badlands playlist had the 1.37 lens/masking change instead of scope. I corrected them all. Please watch this when building playlists, much easier to just get it right the first time rather than having to update multiple playlists individually after noticing a mistake.

We'll need a re-upload of the 15min Wicked preshow clip, Screenwriter says it's corrupt and won't ingest. Kat is away for the weekend and we're not showing this for another two weeks, so we can bug her about it on Monday.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Spoons is set up. Please remember to put both XLR cables for the PA speakers on the hooks beneath the screen when breaking down. There is a hook for the left speaker cable toward that side of the screen. No cables should be left on the floor.

Bugonia 35mm for the early round went well today. Print remains in terrific shape and looks great! Awesome job everyone!!

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Come See Me in the Good Light DCP drive arrived yesterday evening, I ingested it this morning.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Innocent Blood print did not get picked up by FedEx last night. We'll need to reschedule the pickup for Monday (Academy asks we don't send prints back after Wednesday). FedEx is only letting me schedule for today or tomorrow right now.

Print/video Inspection: Looked at the three new first runs briefly during the staff screenings to check volume.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Swept up a mess of drywall debris from the booth 2 floor, this will get mopped tonight.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):

Marquee updated?: After the Hunt down, Predator Badlands up.

Posters updated?: Ditto the marquee change.

Cleaning lights on for the night?:

Projection cart by entrance?:

NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
