Projection Admin 11/13

To do this evening/ was completed: No issues with T3 today. Checked in this morning and the first round has gone just fine. See notes below in maintenance. - L

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Lots of playlist updates. Got rid of old content/playlists we don't need. Built all SE playlists for 11/14 Kiki's, The Doors, The Crow, Barry Lydon, Btwixt Now ad Sunrise, Dark Room Shorts (which, yes, have a q&A after each short!), Legends of the Fall and Goodfellas including the A1 Wicked 2 playlists, but we're waiting on that Xmas Book trailer. I reached out to Kat. Update: Xmas Book trailer has been ingested. Playlists updated. - L

Built just about 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Built and scheduled the playlist for the school screening tomorrow morning. All set - L

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested Wicked 2, Wicked 15min_V2 preshow, transferred The Doors feature to T3, Ingested The Crow (now scheduled in T2 on LMS) - L

DCP for the private event on 11/17 (Between the Mountain and the Sky has been downloading since this morning via the Filemail desktop. It will be on the preshow/trailers drive with BMS in the CPL. Please ingest this to the LMS and T7. We need this sorted for a last min tech tomorrow. Thanks! -L

Note: The Crow is a Paramount booking and the keys haven't come in yet. I reached out to Deluxe and they're on hold right now, but we'll probably get them last minute as per usual. I'll keep an eye on this. - L

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Island of Dr. Moreau is on the cart, awaiting pickup by FedEx which is scheduled for tomorrow. -A

Print/video Inspection: Got my eyes on all the new A1s and their playlists - Sentimental Value, Running Man, Jay Kelly. - L

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: For T3, I sent a report and logs to DMS so they can investigate any issue(s) and asked if we could move along with the firmware updates in T6. - L

Cable connection on the Trees projector seems to be working fine now with a new ethernet cable behind the A/V bench. -A

I set up an HDMI-over-Ethernet extender in T4 so we have a somewhat permanent stage HDMI hookup in there now. The transmitter and receiver are movable so they can be used in another theater if needed. -A

You've probably noticed the new arcade game in Trees Lounge in our usual DJ setup area. Well with this comes an adjustment to how we'll hook up DJs and mics from this side of the room. There are now four short XLR cables connected to each input in the wall behind the game so we don't need to move anything to connect to it. These are hanging on a hook (courtesy of Juan), pictured below:

Each cable is labeled with the corresponding wall input on paper tape near the female end. Simply connect your longer XLR cables to these as needed. You'll still need to connect the cables from the little electrical box at the opposite corner when setting up on this side of the room. -A

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. SE info added/updated and Wicked added to Thursday 11/20 - L. 

Marquee updated?: Yes. Added Sentimental Value, Jay Kelly, Running Man to the front. Took down outgoing titles to both the front marquee and 35mm side. Added Spartan and Nightmare on Elm Street 4 to the 35mm side. - L
