Projection Admin 11/14



To do this evening/ was completed: We had Jack's review today. Had a good talk about all things projection related. Alec and I have good feedback for what we can work on department wise, too.   

Between the Mountain and the Sky tech all good, volume and lights up logged (5.0, 1:30:00).

All A1 11/21 playlists built, plus two of the three SE's for the week.

No Other Choice posters in 3/7.

Special Events/ AV set up: Private event for Frankenstein in T3 went well today. Hosts showed a little late, but everything was perfectly fine. - L

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested Hellboy 2, Crow keys came in! (they open up this Sunday, so I will set a reminder, but most likely I'll take a look on Monday), DCP'd and ingested the Scott Barley Intro for Dark Room - L

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Went over the Dark Room shorts playlist and intro video with Crisinta in T3 today. Playlist updated with Scott intro. -  L 
Ran Kiki's Delivery Service and Legends of the Fall for Cristina. Legends is Dolby A. I ran the Bugonia loop and adjusted the masking tape again for tonight's show. - L 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Replaced a woofer in the middle right side surround speaker in T4 -A

Broke down the old bookshelf and took it out to the dumpster -A

DMS should be visiting next week to upgrade the T6 firmware, looking like Tuesday or Wednesday -A

I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
