Projection Admin 11/24



To do this evening/ was completed: Chenelle Uber connected a drive and BluRay of Guardians of the Galaxy. The file that Kat ripped needed to be run through Handbrake to correct its dimensions, so I did that and then immediately started DCPing it. The DCP should be finished around 9pm tonight. Please ingest this to T1 as soon as it is done. It will finish to the Share folder. CPL is GOTG_Private

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked the Hellboy 2 playlist and added a house lights up cue.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for Marty Supreme. 

Ordering/Receiving (content): The keys we received for Zootopia 2 were only for the OCAP 5.1, which I thought was strange and obviously just a bit of a mistake on Deluxe's end, so I notified them and we got the right keys. Eternity keys are fine. Hamnet is another story. Took a minute to hear from Jeffrey since Deluxe told me the keys were on hold, and it turns out we're a bit behind on paying a bill, so they'll be released as soon as we sort that. 

We received the download links for Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Monty Python's Life of Brian. Since I am already copying over the DCP of Death House to the George Ivan drive in T1, I have Holy Grail downloading to it as well. You can download Life of Brian once Holy Grail is done. Tomorrow we can ingest all three DCPs. 

We received the Google Drive folder for the FOFIF shorts, three of which I have downloaded and ingested: Dorion, Budget Paradise, Quaker. I am currently Baba I'm Fine downloading to the Share folder. Note: some of the shorts are not available yet. 

Received a backup BluRay of Predators for the private event next week. The package came with return labels and it is on the bookshelf in 4/6. Please do not move this or throw anything away. Thanks!

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Transferred One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest to T4 so we can tech it tomorrow. East of Eden transferred to its screening room. Waiting on keys. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Since we were a hair shy of the warning to change the lamp in T7, and we're heading into early rounds this week, I changed it out this morning and did house checks. Cleaned the projector and dusted the window glass and sill. 

I ordered more compressed air, which should be here in the next few days. 

Received rainbow masking tape. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Intialized and let Wyatt know we were all set for today before printing.

I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
