NPP Projection Admin 12/12



To do this evening/ was completed: Both King Kong prints packaged up, they came with Fedex Ground labels, so I scheduled a pickup for Monday and will the cans down Sunday night.

Charlie on house reels.

Looked at the first reel of Dark Angel with Cristina. No soundtrack type listed on inspection/leaders, so we switched back and forth with A and SR. It is Dolby A. Volume logged.

12/19 and 26 preshow content ingested. Built 12/19 playlists (excluding Marty and Is This Thing On?). **Most PG-13 and R playlists need the NewYearNewMe trailer, which will not be available until 12/15, so we'll have to update these playlists then FYI.**

Running Man letters/posters down.

Special Events/ AV set up: Checked Elf and Shop Around the Corner and updated playlists. Set 1.37 masking in T3.

Looked at the content for the T7 private event on the 17th. Also had to set masking for this to 1.37. I used the preset corresponding to the 1.66 cue, since we need the preset for the "Variable Ratio" cue to stay at 1.50 for Bugonia screenings in T7. Checked with Chenelle about a slide for the Q&A, she is confirming with the host.

Ordering/Receiving (content): We received the can with reels 1-3 of Red Rocket. I went ahead and prepared the can with the duplicate 5-7 to be sent back and scheduled a pickup for tomorrow. It's on the cart.

Maintenance/cleaning: Changed a ceiling light in T7, our bulb changer is broken so I ordered us a new one. Should be here tomorrow.

Inventory of event supplies for each theater (and Trees). I ordered some more mics, XLR cables, and a mixer for Theater 6 so we can just keep one in there as we've had a few private Q&As in this room.

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
