NPP Projection Close 12/2



To do this evening/ was completed: A busy night made easier by having Alec take care of the private event in Theater 7. It made things all the easier and I appreciate it.

Special Events/ AV set up: Private event in T7 went well. There was a holding slide swap, we got a new one yesterday. The old one was in the playlist. I put the slide up before doors and Chenelle radioed me that it was the wrong slide. McKegg quickly converted the new one and I updated the playlist. Totally smooth sailing otherwise.

Nightmare on Elm Street 4 flew by. We had a lovely little pre-screening Q+A with a smooth transition into the feature. All changeovers, framing, and focus were on point. 

Trivia setup was also a breeze. Everything is broken down and put away.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Cue sheets for next week are complete with the exception of timing for The Alabama Solution, Life of Brian, Pig, King Kong, and The Cure movie.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
