NPP Projection Report 12/20 Open


To do this evening/ was completed: 29th through Jan 1st still needs to be scheduled.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled Is This Thing On, Polar Express, When Harry Met Sally, and Back to the Future.

There were 12/19 playlists, which have the Marty etc. trailers in them, scheduled on 12/24 and 25. I swapped those for the 12/26 versions.

Ordering/Receiving (content): I reached out to Deluxe about Is This Thing On? since it wasn't showing up after scanning the FilmVault server. Deluxe was not showing a booking, but they checked with the studio who must've clarified that we do, indeed, have it booked. Content and keys came in shortly after. Feature ingested.

Lego Batman came in on a CRU drive, ingested to the LMS.

Ingested Hell Up in Harlem to the LMS.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Finished filling in cue sheets for 12/26-1/1, with the exception of Stranger Things.
-REMINDER to please check the FilmBot runtime when making cue sheet formulas for new movies. Matthew always puts it in the film schedule email for new films opening. Check the runtime of the DCP and let him know right away if there's a difference. It can make a big difference for flip times so it's really important we check this and communicate any discrepancies. I emailed you all about this, and put a note in big handwriting on the 4/6 computer so we don't forget going forward. Thanks!

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
