NPP Projection Report 12/28 Open


To do this evening/ was completed: Made all the cues we need on the new T1 server. Also transferred Stranger Things for the New Year's Day showing. Shows are scheduled in here for the rest of the week.

The clock on the T1 server is wrong so I scheduled everything accordingly. The clock is 31 minutes ahead, so everything is scheduled 31 minutes "late" which means they will start on time. I tried setting the clock to the correct time but was unable to do it. The update would not save. I also tried adding Screenwriter as an NTP server (this is the case for all the other theaters), but it's not refreshing. Maybe it needs to be rebooted for that to take effect, not sure. If rebooting causes the clock to sync with the NTP and display the correct time tomorrow, please make sure things are scheduled for the proper time.

I added all the screen servers and the FilmVault as content sources for this new server.

Presentation Issues: No issues with Theater 1 today.

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud.
