Ingested the DCPs (custom preshow and a feature) for the private event on 12/17 and built a rudimentary playlist. I'll be running this one so I'll look at it tomorrow and add cues.
Trailer Updates: Went through all playlists for 12/12 to check trailer volumes after logging some new/holiday trailers. Trailer info is now also on the whiteboard above the computer in 4/6. - L
Special Events/ AV set up: Cure feature all set for this evening - L
Outgoing/Shipping (content): Million Dollar Legs did not get picked up yesterday, but it did today! I just scheduled another pickup for it. - L
Print/video Inspection: Took a look at Christmas Vacation in T7 for the private event on Sunday. Adjusted the playlist. All set! - L

Desmond and I went over the tech playlist for Batman Returns drag show. Got volume for everything, but we may or may not use one of the last slides (donations slide), plus Vigor's music was not as loud as the others, so I made a new V2 DCP of it without adjusting the volume as much so we won't need to go past 8.0 on the processor. I'll get my ears on it tomorrow. Went through various lighting arrangements and we're all set. One more thing - Desmond asked if we had the stage dimensions available (which I could not see on the drive, so I got the tape measurer out and now this info is available via photos and text on the tech specs sheet for Prospect. He asked since someone might be bringing a prop to use. - L
IMPORTANT: Just a note about making DCPs since we haven't talked about this in a while. Desmond mentioned that the last drag performance, Malice's audio was slowed, and I'm wondering if it's due to the frame rate setting being wrong when the DCP was made. I've mentioned this before but it is worth mentioning again since it's easy to forget, but, DCP-o-matic will almost always ask if you want to change your frame rate to 24fps if the DCP is at 30fps, naturally. You do NOT want to change it to 24fps, or at the very least it is rare that you should do so. Most mixed or home formats will come out to 30fps that's why 9 times out of 10, when you receive a video file of an independent documentary, it'll come out to 30fps in dcp software because of mixed bits of footage. If you change to 24fps, the audio will not only be slower but deeper, so don't do it. Thanks! - L
Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Updated the SE whiteboard for 35mm and DCP titles - L
Maintenance/cleaning: Finished labeling all equipment for each theater, though I will be taking a full inventory of everything tomorrow and ordering more so we won't need to shuffle things around as much. The system is pretty self explanatory, there's a color for each location, and the proper location is written on the labels as well. - A
Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes
