NPP Projection Report 1/27 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Arco ingested, playlisted, scheduled. The Moment ingested, yet to make playlists. Cue sheets started, those can continue.

Tech'd Possessor, Train Dreams, NoBudge and 9 to 5 preshow content. All good. Volumes logged. Will make NoBudge playlist soon. 9 to 5 playlist has updated volume cues but no pause cues yet.

Ran loops for tonight, all set.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Downloading the Frankenhooker DCP, will need to be unzipped once it's done. This is going onto the Share folder.

Maintenance/cleaning: The rear surround speakers in Theater 1 are working fine. The channel mapping on the replacement IMS3000 from DMS was different than what we needed (wasn't aware of this until today), which is why nothing was coming out of them--the left/right rear surround sound was going through the wrong channel. I changed it and we're all set.

Cleaned the floor in booth 2.

Order of splicing tape is here. There are rolls by both rewind benches. Made a new RP-40 loop for T1 too.

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
