NPP Projection Report 1/8 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Took a hot minute to get those keys for Is This Thing On, but they finally came in! Note - I reached out and the keys for Arco will be coming in later tonight, around 9pm. - LH

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a few SE playlists for the week and scheduled them on the LMS. - LH
Tech'd Primate/playlist for Primate - LH

Trailer Updates: 

Special Events/ AV set up: Photo shoot in T1 went well. Blu-ray returned to the renter.

Setup for Spoons in T1 with wirelesss mic mixer, yamaha, aja, spots board, mic stands. I added a bit more time on the LMS in case they start a little late. - LH

An intro was added to the T6 private event. Mic set up on a stand in the front of the room. Levels are set, just turn the mixer on.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested Nirvanna The Band... for a preview screening on the 16th

Ingested Minions, transferred Arco and Hell up in Harlem to their screening rooms. Ingested ABC new preshow, Coach Carter trailer, and DCP'd the slide for Mayor of Hell. - LH

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Pan's Labyrinth is on the cart, awaiting pickup tomorrow. Flying Guillotine and The Queen got picked up today.

Deleted content from various servers (including Eldorado right after the photoshoot concluded)/ sent Tiernan tracking info for Guillotine. - LH

Print/video Inspection: Inspected all of Mayor of Hell, which is looking good. Ready to run a reel of this tomorrow for Cristina. - LH

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Added outgoing tracking for Pan's Labyrinth. Keep an eye out for an email from the cinema dept. with all the details on this new protocol I mentioned in my blog yesterday.

Added February titles and info to the asset doc. - LH

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Adjusted the cue sheets and notified MOD with changes. L H

Additional Notes: FYI there are three boxes on the cart with Goldberg reels, these are for Williamsburg and Matthew will be picking them up tomorrow to bring them over.

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday). To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Do the Right Thing screening in theater 1 went very smoothly Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Uploaded keys for The Warriors Outgoing/Shipping (content): Contacted DHL and brought  Do the Right Thing downstairs for it to be picked up tomorrow + removed Deep Blue Sea content from the LMS/theater 3 Print/video Inspection: Tech'd Deep Blue Sea in theater 3 this morning (mostly for a laugh) and the 5.5 volume setting is perfect + re-inspected  Do the Right Thing  after the show and cleaned the projectors/shut the exhausts Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Marquee updated?: Removed the outgoing brunch titles and replaced them with letters for Pavements Posters updated?: Cleaning lights on for the night?: Projection cart by entrance?: Additional Not...
