NPP Projection Close 2/5

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: Theater 3's server froze during the Q&A and lost connection to the internet, forcing me to reboot the projector as the moderator and guests were finishing up their discussion, and delaying the next and final round by 5 minutes

Special Events/ AV set up: Removal of the Eye screening and Q&A in theater 3 went smoothly save for the aforementioned technical issue that kept me from unpausing the show playlist and starting the next round

Alec got STB up and running as I was handling the Q&A in theater 3...I left the gear beneath the table cloth for the show on Saturday but disconnected the spotlight board to plug the masking motor back into the outlet (I made sure the table was out of the path of the curtain/tested scope and flat settings and it is functioning normally). Mics and laptop are back in the booths charging for the time being.

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
