Projection Admin 2/11



To do this evening/ was completed: Staff screenings are out. Had our cinema meeting and we're in pretty good shape with content for this week. Please also see the Weekly Update I sent out earlier. More notes below. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built/Adjusted or added to lots of SE playlists today and built the A1 playlist for Sirat. Few things just need to be techd. - LH

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Coach Carter all set for this evening. I took one more look at the La La Land playlist just to make sure everything's good. - LH

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Currrently downloading the DCP of Cutting Through Rocks to the Share folder via filemail desktop app. - LH

Ingested Love & Friendship this morning. 
Downloaded and ingested Kink preshow. 
Transferred The Hunger to T2. 
Made and ingested slides for American Cyborg/Ghost - LH

DCP of Spy kids sorted! Ingesting to the LMS right now. LH

Hunted down the key extension for The Moment. They came in shortly after. No Other Choice keys come in tomorrow, I believe. - LH

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Jurassic Park will be picked up by Matthew tomorrow. I noticed that the drive for Road Games was still on the cart, so I scheduled another pickup and it got on its way today. - LH

Deleted content from various servers. -LH

Print/video Inspection: Looked at Dog Day Afternoon with Desmond, including the the playlist. Added in the trailer, which we also took a look at. Adjusted volume. 
In addition to Dog Day, we looked at The Hunger drag show pieces and slides for tomorrow. I built the playlist out today after the tech. DCP'd the last bit of it all today. Everything looks/sounds good. We went through all the lighting cues (some of which changed today), and there is a lil maneuver I'll show Will tomorrow before the show for one section. It should be a breeze! I added the rest of the lighting info to the event memo.  - LH

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes. Tracking added for incoming Ghost print. Should be here tomorrow! - LH

Maintenance/cleaning: Ran loops and swapped the lenses/plates for Coach Carter tonight. Went through the playlist as well. We're all set. Mind your focus! LH

Took the trash out in T1 - LH

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday). To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Do the Right Thing screening in theater 1 went very smoothly Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Uploaded keys for The Warriors Outgoing/Shipping (content): Contacted DHL and brought  Do the Right Thing downstairs for it to be picked up tomorrow + removed Deep Blue Sea content from the LMS/theater 3 Print/video Inspection: Tech'd Deep Blue Sea in theater 3 this morning (mostly for a laugh) and the 5.5 volume setting is perfect + re-inspected  Do the Right Thing  after the show and cleaned the projectors/shut the exhausts Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Marquee updated?: Removed the outgoing brunch titles and replaced them with letters for Pavements Posters updated?: Cleaning lights on for the night?: Projection cart by entrance?: Additional Not...
