To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked Cameraperson for picture and sound this morning in addition to running house checks throughout the building (3 and now 7, for some reason, do not have the Dolby house check playlists on their servers)

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Ran loops for Sundays on Fire + Cameraperson and Martial Arts of Shaolin screenings in theaters 4 and 1 this afternoon went smoothly (mic is back up in booth 1)

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content):

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Placed Martial Arts of Shaolin back on its shipping reels in booth 1

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: An arm rest came loose in the front row of theater 3 but I could not fix it since I was pressed for time between reels in 1 (I brought the arm rest up to 4/6 for now. James could not find the right bolt length to fit its base. We'll have to search one of Juan's workspaces for something that fits)

Additional Notes: Lobby bar was having trouble getting playback from the iPad in 4/6...seems to be some sort of source mismatch since the Soundtrack app is set to Source 8 but there was no audio coming from it in the lobby? Source 2 has Trees Lounge's iPad audio playing so this is on downstairs for the time being

Used the projection laptop this morning which died at 70% battery. I've got it charging again up in 4/6 but I'm not sure what good it will do at this rate. Seems to really be on its last legs

2 closed caption devices in theater 3 + an assisted listening device in theater 7 can be returned to the A/V closet after those respective shows end

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday). To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Do the Right Thing screening in theater 1 went very smoothly Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Uploaded keys for The Warriors Outgoing/Shipping (content): Contacted DHL and brought  Do the Right Thing downstairs for it to be picked up tomorrow + removed Deep Blue Sea content from the LMS/theater 3 Print/video Inspection: Tech'd Deep Blue Sea in theater 3 this morning (mostly for a laugh) and the 5.5 volume setting is perfect + re-inspected  Do the Right Thing  after the show and cleaned the projectors/shut the exhausts Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Marquee updated?: Removed the outgoing brunch titles and replaced them with letters for Pavements Posters updated?: Cleaning lights on for the night?: Projection cart by entrance?: Additional Not...
