NPP Projection Close 3/10

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: I accidentally hit the wrong button on the LMS while trying to take projector 1 off its scheduled mode, which in turn caused the server to appear "offline" on Screenwriter. I loaded the Girls About Town pre-show and tech'd it to be sure it would run without any issue, and it did, but thought it would be best to reboot the projector to avoid risking any malfunctions during the show and get the system back "online" on the LMS. Following this reboot, a warning on the touch panel stating the PIB board had lost connection was visible so I tried rebooting the machine a second time. This failed and the warning was the same as before so I reached out to Alec to help with troubleshooting the problem. He walked me through reseating the PIB board and rebooting the projector, which ultimately failed, and offered to come back to attempt it himself. Again I tried reseating the board but whatever I was doing was ineffective and the projector remained on via standby power. At this point I had already alerted the MODs that we would forego any pre-show and proceeded to adjust the masking manually for the feature and set the spots for Cristina and her co-host's introduction. The feature ran just fine, Alec had arrived and tried a few approaches to fixing the issue with the PIB board, ultimately replacing it with a space from 4/6 that brought it back online and remedied the lack of connection. He recommended we cancel the final show and I tech'd some more content after the event ended to be certain the projector was operating normally

Special Events/ AV set up: Girls About Town screening in the theater 1 went smoothly save for the lack of a pre-show due to the aforementioned technical issues 

Rushed through setting up the turntables after failing to reseat the PIB board a second time but got everything working for the afterparty. Alec ran a quick vinyl test before he left. Ended up having to adjust some knobs on the mixer for a better signal and raise the volume beneath the bench

Swapped the lenses and plates in booth 1 to scope for Creed tomorrow night. Loops can be run in the morning. Both projectors are cleaned/exhausts closed

Ordering/Receiving (content): Transferred the Blue short film DCP to the LMS for NSF26. Began converting Good Neighbors Care and Alphabet Backwards to DCP and ingested the former. Downloaded and ingested Dear Shop Girl for NSF26

Print/video Inspection: Placed Girls About Town back on its shipping reels/in its canisters and left it in booth 1 for the time being

Additional Notes: Soundtrack app went down sometime earlier this afternoon, manually launched it on the iPad to get the house music up and running again
