NPP Projection Report 3/10 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: A warning came up on the T2 projector this morning for the cooling pump, saying it is dead. I reached out to Jerry and he said that as long as the projector is operational (which it is, I checked) that it's just the sensor that is dead and not the pump itself. The only way to replace the sensor is to replace the whole pump, though. He'll quote us for a replacement.

I also turned the AC in booth 2 back on with this warm weather we're having.

The backup option for Cable in Trees is set and working. Rather than explain at length how it works here, see the projection manual section I added on it. Please read it through next chance you get.

Presentation Issues: No issues today.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the Dope playlist (two versions, with and without the Mubi promo), Riding In Cars Wit Boys, and also Undertone. We need a special preshow for Jaws which Kat will have on our share folder by end of day tomorrow.

Scheduled shows for next week, except for Thursday 3/19 because current playlists have the Project Hail Mary trailer, which opens on this day. These can get scheduled when we build 3/20 playlists.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Ran loops for Girls About Town tonight. Playlist also looks good.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested Undertone and Jaws to the LMS.

Converted/ingested the last short for the NSF Closing Nite program.

"Blue" for the NoBudge NSF program is converting to DCP.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Teched the Dope DCP.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Cue sheets are built for next week. Timing is incomplete for Madonna: Truth or Dare and Jaws as these playlists need to be built and/or teched. All Project Hail Mary and Ready or Not 2 slots are blank, haven't received content yet and thus haven't made the formula.

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud.
