NPP Projection Report 3/28 Open


To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: T3 server went down during preshow for the second round Hoppers. I refreshed the IMS page and got the 404 error pretty much simultaneously with the call from MOD that the volume hadn't changed for the trailers. I killed the lamp right away, power cycled, then just started the movie once everything was back on. This delayed the movie 6 minutes in total, causing a manual start for the next round.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Scheduled Super Mario and Drama shows. The Drama DCP is transferred to Theater 4 for the Monday viewing.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Pieces of April went well. No brightness issues with either projector. The print is rewound for tomorrow.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): The version of Dead Lover ingested last night was a VF with the closed captions only, the OV still needed to be ingested which I did this morning. All good now.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Added some motor oil to P2 in 4.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Put the runtime into the Super Mario formula and added it's shows to the cue sheets for Weds and Thurs.

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday). To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Do the Right Thing screening in theater 1 went very smoothly Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Uploaded keys for The Warriors Outgoing/Shipping (content): Contacted DHL and brought  Do the Right Thing downstairs for it to be picked up tomorrow + removed Deep Blue Sea content from the LMS/theater 3 Print/video Inspection: Tech'd Deep Blue Sea in theater 3 this morning (mostly for a laugh) and the 5.5 volume setting is perfect + re-inspected  Do the Right Thing  after the show and cleaned the projectors/shut the exhausts Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Marquee updated?: Removed the outgoing brunch titles and replaced them with letters for Pavements Posters updated?: Cleaning lights on for the night?: Projection cart by entrance?: Additional Not...
