Projection Admin 3/18



To do this evening/ was completed: Staff screenings have been built, blocked and scheduled. Tomorrow morning, when the keys open up, we will double check the aspect ratio and masking for Project Hail Mary and make any adjustments necessary. 

Presentation Issues: Needed to reset 3/7 today after, I believe, builders might've set tripped something. All theatres are good. 

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Once the following content (below) is ingested, we can build the playlists for Liberty Valance, Headless Woman, Swordfish. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Jaws playlist all set for this evening. 

Touched base with Chenelle about the private event on 3/26. Host will be sending content either this evening or tomorrow! 

Reached out to Kat once I noticed we only have the 5min Western preshow and not the 15min or 25min. These are now uploading to the Share folder. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for Disclosure. 

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received and ingested Stand By Me, brought the George Ivan drive up from T1 to ingested Headless Woman, which failed the first time but is stable now. Keep an eye on this please. 

Downloaded the video for Saturday's event in Trees. 

Made the DCP for Swordfish slide. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Creed outbound this evening. Packed it up and scheduled a pickup. 

Print/video Inspection: As per their requirements, I sent the prescreening report of Riding in Cars with Boys to David at Sony. We will follow up after the screening. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes

Maintenance/cleaning: Noticed Creed hadn't gone out yet, likely due to that faulty reel. I added a core and fixed the reel. This'll be on its way out now. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
