NPP Projection Report 4/14 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Scheduled shows Friday through Sunday.

We should be able to build Big Lebowski and Project Eden playlists tonight.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Ran loops for Sign of the Cross tonight. I also double checked the fourth reel since there is an intermission/musical interlude. There are cues at the end of the intermission and it doesn't affect the runtime so we're going to play it. Should be short, 5 minutes or less.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Jess dropped off the blu-ray of Zootopia for the Sunday private event. I ripped it and put it into DCP-o-Matic. It's analyzing the audio which is taking a while. After that the level just needs to be adjusted and you can start converting it,

Downloaded and ingested Dirty Pair: Project Eden

Richie Rich and The Rookie prints came in, they are both down in 1.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Looked at Cecil B. Demented for the weekend. Playlist updated.

Ran a reel of Lady Assassin for Cristina and logged the volume.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:
 
Maintenance/cleaning: Printed more 35mm info sheets.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled in cue sheets for next week. What's missing: timing for both private events (Zootopia on Sunday and Michael on Thursday), credits start for Woman Chaser, intro and Q&A timing for Take Shelter and Jimmy & the Demons, credits start/end for Project Eden, and Michael and Mother Mary formulas.

Marquee updated?: I cleared the marquee rental from yesterday and put brunch titles up for this weekend.

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday). To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Do the Right Thing screening in theater 1 went very smoothly Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Uploaded keys for The Warriors Outgoing/Shipping (content): Contacted DHL and brought  Do the Right Thing downstairs for it to be picked up tomorrow + removed Deep Blue Sea content from the LMS/theater 3 Print/video Inspection: Tech'd Deep Blue Sea in theater 3 this morning (mostly for a laugh) and the 5.5 volume setting is perfect + re-inspected  Do the Right Thing  after the show and cleaned the projectors/shut the exhausts Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Marquee updated?: Removed the outgoing brunch titles and replaced them with letters for Pavements Posters updated?: Cleaning lights on for the night?: Projection cart by entrance?: Additional Not...
