NPP Projection Report 4/15 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: I pulled the RCA TV from Trees down as it was not staying powered on. This is on the cart by the side door and Matthew will pick it up tomorrow to bring it to the repair shop. -AL

Had CBS book club in here this morning...went well...will send some updates soon! - LH

Staff Screenings have been sent out, scheduled on the LMS, blocked on the cal. - LH

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Finished scheduling shows for next week, just missing Zootopia (private), Mother Mary and KGO. -AL

Built Lebowski, Project Eden, and Michael playlists -AL

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: We're all set for Phantom Thread this evening (with the intro). Ran through the playlist, double checked credits/volume. - LH

Note - the DCP for Zootopia is almost done transcoding in T1, George Ivan drive. Please ingest this eve if ya can! 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Take Shelter comes in tomorrow afternoon. I'll keep an eye out for it. - LH

Keys for The Christophers open up tomorrow. - LH

DCP'd and ingested the intro/Q&A slides for Take Shelter (and built the playlist), intro slides for Richie Rich, Rush Hour. All of these have been added to playlists with the exception of Richie Rich since that's next week. Once we get the new trailer list Friday, we can build it out. - LH

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Sent the DCP we made of Snowy Bing Bongs to the distributor as per Cristina's request. - LH

Scheduled a pickup for Sign of the Cross (which will be a FedEx Ground pickup tomorrow - this print came with return labels). It is ready on the cart downstairs. - LH

Print/video Inspection: 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes!  - LH

Maintenance/cleaning: 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Made the Michael formula and added it to Thursday's cue sheet. -AL

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday). To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Do the Right Thing screening in theater 1 went very smoothly Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Uploaded keys for The Warriors Outgoing/Shipping (content): Contacted DHL and brought  Do the Right Thing downstairs for it to be picked up tomorrow + removed Deep Blue Sea content from the LMS/theater 3 Print/video Inspection: Tech'd Deep Blue Sea in theater 3 this morning (mostly for a laugh) and the 5.5 volume setting is perfect + re-inspected  Do the Right Thing  after the show and cleaned the projectors/shut the exhausts Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Marquee updated?: Removed the outgoing brunch titles and replaced them with letters for Pavements Posters updated?: Cleaning lights on for the night?: Projection cart by entrance?: Additional Not...
