Projection Admin 4/10



To do this evening/ was completed: Haven't been feeling super hot today. Not sure if it's the weather or what have you, but the temperature in the booth was also pretty cold today - realized it was at 60 degrees instead of 68, so we adjusted it to be at 68. Friendly reminder to bring a sweater and drink lots of water this season!

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: please note that for the Fantasy Life Q&A tomorrow (this will be run by me, but in case anyone is confused by the playlist) the slide that says Q&A is a title card to let folks know to stay for the discussion, which is why it's positioned before the feature. 

Built all A1 playlists for the week of 4/17, finished up some 4/10 SEs (Snowy Bing Bongs, Sign of the Cross, etc)

Went through and checked the playlist for Matinee Two for tomorrow, made sure all cues were firing off correctly. All set. Friendly reminder that, for tomorrow, intros will need the single spot preset on the spots board and regular wash preset for Q&A! 

Trailer Updates: Ingested Hokum and Mortal Kombat trailer from Deluxe. 

Special Events/ AV set up: Four mics are ready to go in T7, for tomorrow, though we'll only need 2 - 3, I believe.

Print/video Inspection: Ran Sign of the Cross for Cristina today, which looks fantastic. Volume has been logged. Reel rewound. 

Tech'd Real Life and ever so slightly adjusted the playlist.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Adjusted the cue sheets for Real Life and Fantasy Life (only the Q&A screening) for the weekend.

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
