Projection Admin 4/6



To do this evening/ was completed: Got some training in with Morgan from WB today, which is great since they've already had training with Joe, and it'll be nice in the future if and when we require some part time assistance during popular vacation times. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built all the new first run playlists for 4/10, and built/scheduled the school screening for this Wednesday. 
We still have some SE building to do. Please start on this tonight! Thanks!  

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: We are all set for Dead Lover tonight in T5, which does not require any special tech needs. Regular show with scratch n sniff cards. Tech'd the playlist and added the volume/credits info. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Reached out to Kat with some q's for new playlists and Gowanus Current flick since there's a blank space in the trailer list, but I'm assuming the new Artists preshow goes there (which is not in the share folder but in the Google drive DCP files to download section) so I've got it downloading to the Share folder right now! 

Downloaded the Great Gowns preshow since it wasn't on the preshows/trailer drive. All preshow bits have been ingested. 

DCP'd and ingested the slide for Puddy Sticks. 

Cyberpunk preshow (5min) currently downloading to the Share folder! 

MUI_9 Soderbergh video (for Phantom Thread) has been downloaded and ingested.

Maintenance/cleaning: Just FYI - Ariel has brought in his DJ equipment which he's storing in the Trees closet - this will be for Wednesday!

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday). To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Do the Right Thing screening in theater 1 went very smoothly Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Uploaded keys for The Warriors Outgoing/Shipping (content): Contacted DHL and brought  Do the Right Thing downstairs for it to be picked up tomorrow + removed Deep Blue Sea content from the LMS/theater 3 Print/video Inspection: Tech'd Deep Blue Sea in theater 3 this morning (mostly for a laugh) and the 5.5 volume setting is perfect + re-inspected  Do the Right Thing  after the show and cleaned the projectors/shut the exhausts Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Marquee updated?: Removed the outgoing brunch titles and replaced them with letters for Pavements Posters updated?: Cleaning lights on for the night?: Projection cart by entrance?: Additional Not...
